The Assioma collection, one of the icons of Bulgari horology, presents three new versions characterized by big volumes and strong personality. Thanks to the unique elements of its contemporary design, which have transformed this successful line into a legend, the new versions satisfy the needs of individuals who want to distinguish themselves from others.

The new black dials, characterized by their elegant vertical treatments, are embellished by indices that are applied by hand and treated with diamonds. The precious B130 Caliber automatic chronograph has a powerful personality. It comes complete with date function, power reserve to 42 hours and 130 elements with Cotes de Geneve and Perlage treatments.

The black alligator strap, also available in the stainless steel version, has a folding three-pronged buckle available in 18 carat pink gold or in stainless steel. DeWitt Academia Force Constante Mecanica

Presented as a world first at Baselworld 2006, the ingenious regulation system incorporated within the Tourbillon Force Constante Academia, first presented at Baselworld 2006, has been entirely revisited by the DeWitt master-watchmakers, and the completely redesigned movement can be admired on the dial of this new model. Its previously off-centred hand-setting is now located in the middle of the dial on the Academia Tourbillon Force Constante Mecanica, thereby considerably facilitating time read-off.

The aesthetic of this model has also been revamped to enhance its modern appeal. Inspired by its inherently avant-garde nature, DeWitt wished to endow its creation with a powerful masculine appearance that is the timeless signature of the Geneva-based watchmaker. The upper part of the black sunburst dial on the Academia Tourbillon Force Constante Mecanica has thus been embellished with a “car radiator grille” motif surrounded by a rhodium-plated ring. Originally developed in Venice, “Goldfluss”, also known as gold glass, is an extremely rare synthetic crystal featuring gold and silver-coloured “teardrop” inclusions. Known for being extremely hard to work with, this exceptional material creates an astonishing depth effect on the flame-blued globe radiantly glowing against the black sunburst guilloche base of the dial entirely crafted in the company’s in-house workshops.

Breguet Marine Royale 5847 comes with an alarm device that can only delight both amateur divers and aficionados of exceptional complications. Underwater tests confirm that sound travels better through water than through air. Sound waves require material support and their speed increases with the density of the environment. Sound travels about four times faster under than above water. Furthermore, as the underwater milieu is generally far less noisy than the aerial one, the alarm’s sound is perceived with greater clarity underwater.

The alarm setting crown and on-off pushpiece, in gold, are sheathed in rubber for easier handling, adding a further touch of sporty elegance. The Breguet watch naturally possesses the usual diver’s-watch features, not least a one-way rotating bezel inscribed with a graduated 20-minute sector. The bezel’s unidirectional rotation is secured by a blocking pawl, visible and located between the two winding crowns on the case flank. Breguet La Tradition

Unique in the history of watchmaking and symbolic of Breguet own origins, the emblematic Tradition 7027 design returns in a two-color version. Its now-celebrated caliber 507DR displays the entire movement, built on either side of the mainplate though mostly on the front of the plate. Its pink gold case holds an anthracite grey movement that emphasizes its bridges and bars, in particular the escapement’s, fitted with its celebrated old-style “pare-chute” in hand-beveled steel. The movement proper has received a grey anthracite surface treatment, basically an improved electroplating technique, employing an alloy of precious metals of the platinum family darker in hue than the ruthenium traditionally favored by watchmakers.
