The concept of speed finally materialised! The new Longines GrandeVitesse Chronograph 24h features a double tachometer graduated in km/h as well as mph that can measure land speeds up to Mach 2. The sporty character of the line is underscored by the “non-skid” pattern of the crown, caseband and pushpieces. And let’s not forget the very emblematic large “12” associated with motor racing.
The Longines watch is powered by Automatic ETA Valjoux 7754, L686 calibre, 13 ¼”, 25 rubies, 28,800 vib/h, 46-hour power reserve,and the functions include Hours, minutes, seconds, date, chronograph, tachometer and second time zone,water-resistant to 50 m.
The case material is stainless steel,measure 44 mm in diameter,the bezel is black aluminium or brushed steel with double Mach 2 tachometer scale (in km/h and mph),and with sapphire crystal front and back.
The Longines watch dial have several vesion:black, chocolate or silvered sunray with large number 12 and painted hour markers,second 24-hour time zone with red-tipped Superluminova hand,small seconds at 9 o’clock, 30-minute counter at 12 o'clock, 12-hour counter at 6 o'clock,and date window at 3 o'clock.
